Best rental experience I've had in 5 years of renting. The owner left detailed notes by each appliance giving instructions and each easy to use. Washer/dryer easy and roomy enough for good sized loads. Furnace pre-set to come on which turned out to be very welcome as it got colder.. Kitchen well-supplied even with herbs and spices, olive oil and vinegar. Coffee on hand when I arrived and plenty of toilet paper and bar soap. The apartment is attractively decorated with comfortable sofa and good reading light. Flowers in the window boxes and windows in every room for light and space. Bookshelves with books of all kinds including French phrase book and a history of France in English. I'd rent this one again in a heartbeat.

Our second stay in this apartment confirmed our impressions from a couple of years ago. It has an excellent layout and is very nicely decorated reflecting the owner's tastes and interests. Everything provided is of high quality - no skimping as one often finds in rented apartments. The bed linen is particularly fine. All conveniences are provided, everything in working order with explanatory notes about the apartment as well as the neighbourhood. Kitchen is small but functional with good selection of dishes, knives etc. (microwave and stove top but no standard oven )The bathroom is spacious with a built-in laundry and combined washing machine/dryer. There is also a separate cupboard storage area at the entrance that is useful for storing suitcases etc. The elevator is a boon at the end of a long day out in the city. Apartment is in a very quiet area tucked away from the crowds of the Marais - only noise came from the garbage bin areas downstairs when residents were disposing of their bottles. Excellent access to different metro lines although none is very close. There is however a very good and useful bus service from around the corner on Rue de Turenne that goes across to the Left Bank and St Germain. Walking distance to Bastille Opera. Shops on Rue de Bretagne are first rate. We hope to return again in a year or so.

The apartment was very comfortable and well-appointed. I would happily recommend it to anyone. The linens were high quality. The bed was very comfortable. The kitchen was meticulously organized. The closer space was also very organized and terrific. The neighborhood is my favorite in Paris. It's lively with good bistros and brasseries. The washing machine was also good. It was quite hot during the summer, but there was a fan and the apartment cooled off in the evening.

Elegant, quiet apartment in an outstanding location.

We have stayed at this wonderful apartment before. It is very safe, quiet, and comfortable. It is light and airy. The location is perfect for getting to transport, shops, restaurants, and just having a walk. The Musee Picasso is on the same street. The flat is beautifully decorated and is very welcoming. The owners have lovely things and a very, very comfortable bed. We feel it is our home away from home and enjoy relaxing in the flat as much as enjoying beautiful Paris. It is a gem.

Compact apartment. Kitchen extremely well equipped. Smallish lounge dining, but adequate for 2. Comfortable king size bed. Very good shower. Close to Line 8 which is a direct connection to the Eiffel Tower and a 15 minute walk to the river. Close to supermarkets, coffee shops, restaurants in a quiet area. Wifi very good. Plenty of advice in compendium. Local landlines were free from the apartment phone,and apparently included free calls to LANDLINES in Australia and a couple of other countries.

Beautiful apartment great location loved it. Daniel the owner was very helpful he left us lots of useful information.

I selected this apartment based on the glowing reviews I read on AhParis.com. I can confirm that every review is accurate, this is a delightful apartment! Romain was extremely cool and kind. He met us at the apartment, right on time, and explained how all the appliances worked. He clearly answered any questions we had. The apartment, very clean, has all the accessories for a short or long stay, and you feel right at home with the decor. In addition to a fully outfitted kitchen, the apartment comes with umbrellas and a shoe shine kit! You can even light up the flower boxes outside the window if you want! Ergo, a lot of attention to detail. Every essential you could imagine, common or rare, is at the apartment. All the appliances worked and the wifi was reliable. We found the bed to be very comfortable as well. The neighborhood is safe, quiet, and the location is ideal. You can throw a frisbee from the front door of the apartment and hit the Picasso Museum-you're that close! Lot's of nice shops, cafes, and other museums nearby, for example the Musee de Carnavalet. You are about a 12 minute walk from the Hôtel De Ville and then a little further on to the Île de la Cité. You are near the 8 line metro which easily connects to the 1 line at La Bastille or 2 stops to the Republique station. So you can really get around the city if you plan to use the Metro. We would definitely stay at this apartment again!

The apartment is lovely, well-maintained, and full of up-to-date conveniences. There are beautiful paintings and other works of art which are very pleasant to behold. The bed was very comfortable. I cannot say enough good things about my stay, except that the owners were very, very friendly. They provide excellent materials about using the various appliances in the apartment and wonderful recommendations for restaurants, chocolate stores, bakeries, groceries, places to see, etc., which were very, very helpful. In addition, the apartment is located in a very nice quartier. Many places of interest are nearby and the neighborhood is clean, safe, and chic.

The apartment is splendid. It is light and airy and very quiet. It is very tastefully decorated with good lighting. The kitchen is well equipped and there is a very good notebook provided by the owner on how everything works in the apartment. The bed is very comfortable and the linen and pillows are very top quality. There is also a good selection of books including guide books and maps. We didn't use the television as we listened to the owner's cd collection which had some good jazz. There are all kinds of little things made available that were good to know they were there like extra light bulbs, umbrellas, plenty of towels, etc. This is the second time we've stayed here and we look forward to doing so again.

Excellent apartment, beautifully decorated and with every convenience. Very much a home rather than a commercial venture. Good instructions on use of appliances, garbage disposal etc. Very comfortable bed with high quality linen and lots of towels. Only niggle is that we found the casual seating very uncomfortable. The sofa is very soft with no support and the leather armchair cushions have seen better days. Elevator worked very well during our stay. Local area, particularly to the north of R de Thorigny has wonderful food shops, cafes and restaurants. Choice of metro lines at three neighbourhood stations makes it easy to move around the Right Bank in particular. We have no hesitation in recommending this apartment and hope to return again in the not too distant future.

A beautifully presented very small apartment with carefully thought out layout and amenities, it worked extremely well for a couple. It's about the size of a bedsit, but by separating the bedroom from the sitting room with a wall with glass from waist height (with Blinds) there is a sense of space, but it is possible to close the door and pull down the blinds so one person could sleep while the other used the sitting room. The bed was very comfortable and while most things are excellent quality the TV is old and we couldn't get it to work, no big drama. The table is very small and the chairs are metal without cushions, so hard to sit on for long periods. The best instructions for using appliances, etc and where to find places to eat, markets, etc I have ever had in a holiday rental. Fabulous location, we walked to most places and bus and metro close by. We loved it

The apartment was excellent, warm, comfortable and quiet with everything we could possibly need. It was perfect for the two of us, a fantastic location, walking distance to good cafes and Rue Bretagne, local parks, as well as easy access to the Metro. Loved the building and the street location - in the heart of La Marais but a quiet street with good lift access to the apartment. The kitchen was small but complete making it easy to prepare meals. The bed was very comfortable, and the apartment very tastefully decorated - well finished but with a personal touch that made it feel like home. Both Romain and Daniel, the owner, were a delight to deal with. We stayed there once, and were so impressed stayed their again 3 weeks later. Hope to stay again.

The apartment is admittedly small, suitable only for one or two persons but it has been designed and furnished with excellent taste and intelligence. There is a plentiful supply of good books, including guide books. One does need to read the sensibly provided instruction sheets with great care to make the most of the modern equipment, notably the TV, the WFi and the induction cooktop, but the representative from Ah Paris, Romain , also gives a rundown on these matters to which one should listen carefully. We did not ever learn how to access messages on the phone so, be warned, suggest to anyone who might call and who leaves a message to call again just in case. Everything in the apartment actually works, including the handy dishwasher and washing machine. We would have no hesitation in renting the apartment again. Indeed, if we had the time, we would happily rent it for six months or more. The owner obligingly supplies other information sheets, for example on good restaurants nearby and also on the excellent shops in the Rue de Bretagne, a butcher, a cheese shop (albeit with a rather sulky owner), several fruit and vegetable shops, wineshops, bakers and if you really must live the way most of us live at home, a couple of small supermarkets, including one of a very expensive ecological variety which I suggest you avoid. You ought to bone up a bit on your French to make the most of all this. The location of the apartment in the Marais is, for us, ideal, near to the kinds of museums we like and in streets with astonishing 17-18th century mansions, some with lovely public gardens to sit around in, and even the occasional medieval house before that vandal, Baron Haussmann, destroyed most of the other old parts of Paris in the 19th century and bulldozed through those boring cookie-cutter avenues. You can, however, get to most of those avenues very easily from the nearby metro and bus and later return thankfully to the Marais.

One of the best apartment in my travels. It has been lovingly renovated and decorated with the owners' favourite things, and as a result we felt like guests, not tenants. We will certainly request this apartment again.

I loved staying in this sunny apartment. Perfect for a couple or one person. Great location. Well stocked with extras like teas, spices, umbrellas, etc. I'd love to stay here again.

Cet appartement est très bien situé. Il est à proximité de tout (métro, traiteurs, restaurants, boutiques). Il est très propre et sécuritaire. Il est bien organisé, bien éclairé et décoré avec goût. Il y a tout ce qu'il faut y séjourner agréablement. Le lit est confortable, c'est un endroit tranquille où nous pouvons nous reposer avec les journées de marches et de visites dans Paris. Nous recommanderons cet appartement à nos parents et amis sans hésiter. 17 au 25 septembre 2014

I stayed in this apartment for two months - July and August 2014 - and loved it. It's in a prime location in the Marais district but in a very quiet street. It's spotlessly clean and superbly equipped with ultra modern appliances, and there are plenty of utensils of every sort. Daniel the owner is an extremely friendly man and did everything to ensure my stay would be comfortable. Romaine from Ah Paris was also very helpful and professional. I could not recommend this apartment more, for either short or long stays.

The apartment had every thing that was needed, it was clean and well appointed. Unfortunately there was a problem with the television, it would not operate for us. We had difficulties with it Romain was very helpful and said with a bit of effort got it going. We did not persist-to much effort. I believe there must have been a faulty switch

Perfect for the 2 of us. The apartment contained everything we could possibly need, was in immaculate order, and was ideally located for us. We will certainly request this apartment again.

We found the apartment to be even better than we anticipated. The ambience was great and the service from Romain was perfect. They left excellent instructions on how to use the appliances. We took full advantage of the location but spent a lot of time in the apartment. A great way to spend our 60th.

The apartment was lovely; very well appointed and while small, made me think I could get used to small apartment living rather quickly. The trade-off to having peace and quiet is that the immediate area isn't super lively; we'd stayed in another Ah Paris property in the 5th - right in the heart of it - but it was quite loud at night. The only issue we had was the elevator, which went out for about 2 days. We are pretty fit, so using the stairs wasn't too much an issue. However, if you weren't physically able to use stairs it could be a big problem.

Apartment was very good and satisfactory for our time in Paris. Location was very good. Would recommend this apartment to any couple. Not suitable for more than 2 people.

We enjoyed our stay at the apartmen so much we would return at any time, and would recommend it to the most discerning traveller. It had everything you could possibly need and was so bright and sunny. The Marais district is ideal for fabulous food and bars and easy to get to all the museums and sights. The owner was so helpful prior to out stay and left us lots of information.
