The apartment was located in the Latin Quarter close to many of the sites of Paris with many cafes and shops close by. It was a lovely apartment. We felt safe and the apartment was very clean. Would stay here again.

This apartment is absolutely lovely with a typical Paris ambiente! Open a window, and you literally get the accordion "soundtrack" for your perfect Paris vacation... Lots of little details in the apartment that make your stay convenient and show that the host thought things through. Great check-in process with a "real person" who explained little technical details. On a busy touristy street (foot traffic mostly), which actually makes for a safe and convenient neighborhood, but *very quiet* upstairs and pleasantly cool, despite the warm weather we had. Grocery store and dozens of restaurants on the street, a stones-throw from Notre Dame, and close to two subway lines and multiple buses. We couldn't have found a better place, at a great value-for-money!

This is a nice apartment just at the border of the busy Latin Quarter. The ceilings are very high which gives an airiness with light. The host anticipated our needs well with towels, drying rack, washer. Older style furniture in the living room. TV small. WiFi good. The kitchen was well equipped. The microwave is older but serviceable. Drip coffee maker, no Nespresso. Two twin beds with firm mattresses. A bit of closet space to hang clothes. Large bathroom. Separate WC and sink allows two people to get ready at the same time. Elevator works well. Beautiful St. Severin church just behind the building. 1 block from the corner of Boulevards St. Germain and St. Michel. Recommended for its central location in the middle of everything. Get off at RER St. Michel if coming from CDG airport.

I was pleasantly surprised with Apt 197. Very large. High beamed ceilings. Great location. Had everything I needed for a four-night stay. I will stay here again on my next visit to Paris.

The apartment is light and bright, very homely and comfortable. It has very high ceilings and 3 big windows that open onto the street, but there is no noise problem. It is quite spacious with a lovely kitchen that has everything you could need, a nice lounge area with a window seat, a big bathroom and a separate toilet. The bedroom is a reasonable size with 2 single beds that are quite narrow, though they are still comfortable. There is plenty of wardrobe space and plenty of space in general. Great wifi. It is situated in a great tourist street and there are many restaurants all along the street. You could easily become a Parisienne and just live here as it has everything you need This is the fifth apartment we have rented in Paris and the best and would definitely stay in this apartment again - hopefully next year.

This apartment was lovely and in an amazing location-- short walk to the river, Notre Dame, cafes/ restaurants right outside the door, St. Michelle train stop, etc. The apartment was well maintained, looked exactly like the photos provided and was spacious! It was clean and felt safe (female solo traveler). Can't say enough how much I loved this apartment and staying there! I would definitely stay there again!

El departamento esta muy bien ubicado y es bastante amplio.Esta provisto de todos los enseres necesarios yla decoracion es muy subjetiva por la que no quiero opinar mucho pero la pasamos muy bien..No le brindo el maximo porque debería tener aire acondicionado aunque sea en el dormitorio ya que la calle es bastante ruidosay es muy incomodo dormir con la ventana abierta

We enjoyed the space and the location as it is so close to all the main attractions, museums and monuments.Not to mention cafes and boutique shopping.

This was our second visit to the apartment. The location is perfect being at St. Michel and St. Germaine. Wandering around the area of the Marais , St. Germaine de Pres, Isle de Cite and Isle St. Louis is easily done, Convenient transportation has you quickly to some of the more distant locations in Paris. We again found the apartment to be well equipped for two persons. We felt that there had been some decor changes that we appreciated. Rue de la Harpe is a very busy street but we always feel safe and there are good stores close buy for food stuffs and wine. The boulangerie at the top of the street is wonderful for baguettes and croissants.

Just had another stay in this delightful and confortable apartment. In total agreement with all the great reviews all ready posted. Bed, duvets, pillows & bed sheets felt delicious. No issues with bathroom towels and there were plenty to choose. Watched French tv everyday, listen to the radio, played cd's from the soothing selecion available. The wi-fi is fast and consistent. There is a wheel carriage, basket, green shopping bags, umbrellas of all sizes, even a shoe horn & more available in the hall closet. This place offers everything you may need. For a quick take out food the crepes at the corner are very good when THE LADY is there (always a line), also the roti chicken with potatoes a la provençal from the Franprix at Rue Domat. Re museums cafes: The garden café at The Rodin Museum as well as the one at The Museum Of Romantic Life are both hidden treasures and simply magical. At The Museum of Modern Art the café has The Eiffel tower in the background, the sorroundings at The Petit Palais cafe are also extremely pleasing. The museums espectacular as we all know. The restaurant right downstairs, although not great, has always been very adequate & convenient for that first meal as the service is quick and friendly. The Raclette is very good. We love Paris for its beauty, its culture, its citizens. Can't wait to be back...!!!

Great location. We had an issue with refrigerator. It.was turned off when we arrived. It was dirty as well. Raphael was great and fixed it for us. The tv was hard to use Otherwise everything was good.and.we had a.great time.

We loved the apartment- nicely decorated and almost everything provided we needed. The location is perfect and being on the second floor meant we could have the windows open whenever we were in the apartment. Those electric blinds are amazing. Loved the bathroom and a good supply of hot water. Being able to do our laundry was great. We were a bit unsure about the security- the bottom door didn't lock and the main door was left open at times - maybe the workmen working on the foyer? We found the single beds a bit narrow and firm - I put duvets under the underlays and we were fine then. We also found the towels too small - it would be nice to have at least two big fluffy bath towels. We couldn't get the TV to work but didn't need it. Be great to have a wheel alongshopping basket to get the groceries at Monoprix and go to the markets at Bastille, Mouffetard, Monge etc But these are just suggestions- we had a wonderful two weeks and will be recommending it to others.

The apartment's location is superb and more spacious than I had expected. We enjoyed the facilities - the apartment is comfortable, safe and surprisingly quiet given the area. We enjoyed our stay tremendously and would be very happy to return. Consider replacing the towels and bed linen perhaps.

Great location. Well fitted out with everything a traveller needs. It was like a home away from home. All equipment was of a high standard and furnishings were very comfortable. This is now my first choice for Paris accommodation.

The apartment was in an excellent location to walk to most sights. In addition it was much larger than I anticipated. The apartment had everything that one would need. The service provided when we checked in was very thorough. I only had one other question that I texted to the apt manager and he promptly responded with the answer.

This is the best apartment we have stayed in in Paris. The amenities were excellent, the furniture was very comfortable. The 'meet and greet' from Tom was one of the best we have ever had. We will certainly consider returning to this flat in the future, and would also recommend it to friends and family.

easy to find, supermarket and metro are nereby, very safe and convenient? walk to city center and most famous place. my husband liked it very much "the host must be very sentimental, the painting on the wall are so interesting!"

Absolutely wonderful. Especially the location and the homely feel. The only improvement I could suggest would be to replace the bathroom towels with larger, softer ones (I found them quite small and 'scratchy').

We absolutely loved this apartment in the heart of Paris. A beautiful and tastefully furnished apartment in try Parisienne style. Situated in a street full of restaurants we literally walked out the door to eat. So close to all amenities it was the perfect place for a quick three nights.

This is my second stay. I like the neighborhood and the subtle, quiet decor ot the apartment. the quality of the prints and other art work was sensitive and pleasing. i would have preferred larger bedding or a double bed. The location is convenient and near to the Seine and Nortre Dame...very nice indeed. Th curtains in the living area are very soiled at the top and needs cleaning. appreciated the amenities...

The apartment is located in a very good location within wlaking distance from the Metro station and many attractions. Clean and convenient... I really enjoyed staying - though a little bit of noise outside during the evening but not unpleasent. If I have chance to visit Paris, I will consider staying there again.

All the comforts of home were provided and in good working order. Having a bath after a long day of walking was a bonus! The location allowwed us to walk everywhere with no need to use the Metro. We will be recommending this apartment to our friends.

Apartment 197, 43 rue de la Harpe, St Michel. This apartment gets 10 out of 10 for location. It is pretty well perfect for a tourist visit to Paris. Rue de la Harpe is a little cobblestone street right in the heart of the St Michel restaurant area, and at your door step there are literally dozens of well priced eateries of all denominations. At night the area comes alive and the atmosphere is great. Sure this can mean a little bit of noise in the apartment but nothing too bad and besides it adds to the Parisian experience. There is a metro station Cluny-La Sorbonne, less than 100 metres from the apartment and landmark attractions like the Notre Dame and the Luxembourg Gardens are no more than a 10 minute walk away. Plus you are in the heart of the Latin Quarter with all the book shops etc. There several smaller supermarkets close by and a larger one about 5 minutes away. The apartment is very secure with a coded entry door and then another locked door before you can get to the lift or the stairs. The foyer is nicely maintained as well. Once in the apartment it is nice and light with 3 windows in the kitchen/living area. Whilst traditional rather than modern the layout worked well for us and the lounge area was quite comfortable and we enjoyed having breakfast in the kitchen looking out over the street below. Things like cutlery and crockery were also top notch. Some apartments we have rented come pretty well bare boned, but this apartment is just the opposite. It has a very homely feel with lots of the owner's belongings around and little things like washing powder for the washing machine and various condiments in case you want to do a spot of cooking. The owner has supplied quite a few English guide books too and a shopping cart for those trips to the market which came in handy. The shower was over the bath and whilst not fantastic, it was serviceable enough and there was plenty of hot water although the towels were showing their age. The toilet is separate to the bathroom. There is a washing machine but no dryer but there is a drying rack tucked away in one of the cupboards. Unfortunately our experience in the apartment was somewhat let down by the bed and bedding. We were aware that the bed was 2 singles that could be pushed together to form a king size bed, but the actual sheets and duvets were still only for the single bed and were not very nice quality, so the setup was hardly romantic. So that is one area the apartment could be improved. We did find it hard to find enough space in the bedroom for all our clothes so a bit of a clean out of the bedroom cupboard wouldn't go astray, but that's a minor point. The wifi was good and reliable. The service from Ah Paris was first class, and checking in and out was smooth and Al on time. Thanks to Tom, Romain and all at Ah Paris again. All in all, we really enjoyed our time in this apartment and if the bedding and linen/towels were upgraded we would give it a 10 out of 10.

Apt 197 is perfectly located in walking distance of a lot of the Paris sights. The apartment was well stocked. We look forward to staying here I the future.

Would have said excellent except for Wish-list item of electric clothes dryer. I think "dryer" is mentioned in description but this should be "airer". Put-off by hair dryer having a lot of accumulated old hair in it. Minor problem with kitchen sink drain plug. Glass door building lock very difficult to operate. General location was really good especially access to metro.

Apartment was all we hoped for on our visit. Great location, well stocked, and had all the features we needed.

The apartment was wonderfully situated for many of the major sights of Paris. It was easy in all respects - from the arrival/ departure, to the use of everything in the apartment, to the proximity of the metro, restaurants and shops. Compact but not cramped, and with lovely big windows in the high ceilinged lounge/kitchen letting in a lot of light. A sweet little table by the window in the open plan kitchen perfect for meals for two. We would definitely stay there again and can highly recommend it.

One of the best apartments we ever stayed in. This goes every way: comforts, amenities, apartment preparations for guests, neighborhood, quarter and "chic". We intend to stay in this apartment every time we shall come to Paris. Wish we could afford to buy this apartment.

We very much enjoyed our stay in Apt 197 from December 10 to 17, 2014. The location is extraordinary for getting around the Left Bank by foot. There is Metro access nearby at St. Germaine or St. Michel to get further about in Paris. There is a Monoprix shopping centre, a boulangerie and numerous small convenience and wine stores close by. The apartment is very clean and well equipped. It would be helpful to have some basic written instructions, in English, for the operation of the washer/dryer, the dishwasher, the oven, the microwave, and the TV/Radio/Internet. The bed linens and bathroom towels need to be replaced, and an extra pillow would be well received. The moules et frites with a glass of wine at 10 euros in the Traditional restaurant to the immediate right when exiting the building was a wonderful find for our last dinner. We will definitely consider booking a stay here again.

We couldn't be more pleased with the apartment and it's excellent location. Our only regret was we only stayed 6 days instead of 6 weeks. We completely recommend the apartment without any hesitance! We will definitely plan to stay here again on our next visit!

Everything about the apartment was wonderful. It was comfortable, easy to navigate, beautiful. All the appliances I used worked very well. The location was fantastic for my favorite shopping and for getting around Paris. So close to public trans and taxi stations, too. My only issue was a problem navigating the three marble steps inside the entrance. My mobility issues made them a bit difficult. However, it wouldn't keep me from staying there again.

Beautiful, clean, spacious, all we needed available and more, perfect location, NO issues, NO problems. Loved it. Hope to be back soon!!!

It was seriously difficult for me to fault this apartment, so I chose not to. I've stayed in the Latin Quarter previously but not right in its midst, as per this location in Rue de la Harpe. I've heard it mentioned in other posts but the photos do not do it justice. A very well located, attractive, well appointed apartment, with high ceilings and exposed beams, spacious by Parisian terms and elegantly comfortable. The French windows that open onto the street just ooze the character and charm that you perhaps both anticipate and expect. Please, stay here without hesitation.

The location of the apartment was fabulous. It was very easy to see the sights as we were so centrally located and right on top of the metro. It was also great to have a huge variety of restaurants and souvenir shops on our doorstep. The apartment was fully stocked with everything we needed and the appliances together with the hot water functioned perfectly. My only recommendation would be to add a stand-alone fan in the apartment because it was very hot on a couple of nights and due to the street noise, we had to keep the windows and shutters closed. A fan in the apartment would have kept us cool throughout the night.

Our apartment was immaculately clean conveniently located to shopping and accessible to every place in Paris we need to see.

This apt is fabulous! We were accommodated in every way. Traveling anywhere was convenient and easy. Apt. is beautiful, comfortable, and a pleasure to be in. I would stay there again without hesitation.

This was our second time at #197 and we again enjoyed our stay. The furnishings, supplies, and location were as great as we remembered. Except there could have been another box of Kleenex on hand as the one there had only a few tissues left in it. Not a biggie. While you cannot control the neighbors, the person living in the apartment directly next to the bedroom did have guests for two nights and they were quite loud -- not only voices, but playing their music. I have recommended ahParis to several people because of the quality of this apartment.

This apartment feels like home. My second stay and it was a delight to return. I really appreciate the attention to details and the well appointed kitchen. My compliments to the owner, thanks for all you do to offer guests a relaxed home in Paris.

We loved the apartment, perfect location for walking to major sites or to the metro. The eclectic artwork, beamed ceilings, tall windows, comfortable beds and all the amenities you would need provided the perfect Paris experience!! Our next trip to Paris, Apt 197 will be our first choice. Suggestion - have the shower handle repaired correctly so it doesn't keep dropping down the pipe.

Ideally located, well equipped and remarkably quiet given the lively area. We enjoyed the vibrant street action, but had no difficulty sleeping given that the bedroom was on the back. On the down side we did not have a working phone and we thought that the bed linens needed some upgrading. We have rented 4 apartments in Paris over the years and this was our favourite.

The location is great if you want to be in the Latin quarter. This apartment worked great for us as it has everything in it that you could possibly want. It was clean and we were met by Thoren who explained everything we needed to know. I would stay here again for sure. Very happy with our choice !

Great location. The amenity of the apartment was more than we had expected. Location and amenity provided a comfortable base from which to enjoy the deligths of Paris.

It is a surprisingly comfortable apartment, fully equipped and cheerful. All of Paris is within easy access--busses, metro, and within walking distance. It is an especially great place to be if one is just getting to know the city. If you are coming in the summer months, it is very noisy at night. Closing the windows solves the problem, except if it is hot out. We thoroughly enjoyed it despite that.

Es el departamento ideal. Su ubicación es perfecta, muy cerca de la Isla y a un paso de todo, además de la simpática rue de la Harpe, una callecita muy pintoresca, simpática y vital: ni bien abres la puerta de calle, ya estás disfrutando de París a pleno. Por dentro, es muy cómodo, luminoso, confortable y cálido. El wi-fi funcionó perfectamente, el equipamiento es muy completo y todo funciona, no le falta nada e incluye además algunos extras como por ejemplo las paredes con pinturas, la biblioteca llena de libros interesantes, o un enchufe múltiple que facilita la carga del teléfono o el IPad y que no esperabas encontrar. Por decir algo, la llave de la segunda puerta de abajo tiene un pequeño defecto y requiere cierta habilidad para abrir. Un cerrajero deberá ajustar ese detalle, pero eso no desemerece todas las grandes virtudes que tiene el departamento. Sin duda, volveríamos a elegirlo para nuestra próxima estadía en París, que esperamos sea pronto!!
