This apartment is located on the top floor of a 17th century building. It faces south overlooking a quiet courtyard. The apartment was renovated in 2007 in a contemporary design. It is a studio with one bed in the living room and a second bed on the mezzanine overlooking the living room.

It’s just a few minutes by foot from the Picasso museum, the Pompidou centre and the many art galleries in the Marais. The beautiful place des Vosges is not far. Walk to the end of the street and you can find the sophisticated rue de Bretagne lined with stores, restaurants and bistros. There’s also a wonderful open air market (the marché des Enfants Rouges). Walk down the side streets and you’ll discover some great boutiques featuring young designers. Walk in the other direction and you’ll come across the famous Les Halles shopping district and the quaint Montorgueil quarter.

The Arts et Métiers metro station can take you to the impressive Buttes Chaumont park, the picturesque Belleville area, the famous Pere Lachaise cemetery, the Opera and the Galleries Lafayette.

There are several “Velib” or “Free Bike” stations nearby where you can rent a bike for an exciting outdoor tour of the Ile Saint Louis, Notre Dame, the Latin Quarter or the Saint Germain des Près shopping district.
