It's in the heart of a lively neighbourhood next to the National Museum of Modern art (the Georges Pompidou Centre). It's an easy walk to the Hotel de Ville, the Notre Dame Cathedral and the Louvre Museum. To the east, you have the historic Marais distict and to the west, Les Halles. Both districts are teaming with restaurants, shops, cafés and bakeries.

For transportation, you're right next to the Les Halles metro station with direct access to both major airports, the Champs Elysées, the Latin Quarter, the Opera and the Bastille.

There's also three bike rental stations (VéLib) nearby on the rue Quincampoix, the boulevard de Sébastopol and the rue Rambuteau.
