The apartment is charming and well furnished with linens and dishes and kitchen equipment. The location is superb and quiet with restaurants, grocers and various fruit and vegetable and seafood shops with in just a few blocks. A pharmacy is across Blvd de Grenelle and a post office is just down Grenelle on Depaix. The farmers market is just the few blocks down to Grenelle under the Metro tracks on Wednesday and Sunday mornings. And the Eiffel Tower is an easy walk as is the River. Next year will be my 3rd time staying in that apartment.

The apartment is small but charming and well-equiped. We even found olive oil, wine vinegar and seasonings in the kitchen when we arrived. The location is superb - just steps from a small Carrefours grocer, a few short blocks from more food shops and a great bistro. My only problem was that I don't speak French and the apartment contact doesn't speak English. But we managed, then Romain from ahparis.com called and we communicated through him. The premises were generally very quiet - I rarely heard any of the other occupants. The washing machine is small but adequate and my clothes generally dried over night draped across the drying rack in the front room. Only problem was that internet went down 6 times in one month but each time it was just a matter of unplugging and plugging in the router. I will be staying here again and again.

The apartment was a nice size for a ten day stay; it is clean and sufficiently equipped, with ample natural sunlight as a plus. The WiFi worked with no problems. We found the apartment to be conveniently located, as it is near a Metro stop, supermarkets, some restaurants, and a large weekend outdoor market. We have rented three or four short-term apartments in Paris; this was by far the quietest locale in which we have stayed. The only caveat is that I am not sure that the two electric wall heaters would be sufficient to keep the apartment warm in the dead of winter - however, we were very comfortable during our April stay. Earlier comments note a problem with drying clothing, but there is now a drying rack. I would definitely stay here again.
Owner's Comment: The heating is fine in the winter. I live in the apartment most of the winter. I'm from the south of France and I find the temperature in the apartment excellent
