Located on rue de Agent Bailly in the heart of the 9th district, the studio is close to both Montmartre and the Opera district. The studio is in easy walking distance from the luxurious Parisian department stores, Galeries Lafayette and Printemps, and the Opera shopping quarter, while at nearby Rue de la Paix and Place Vendôme, you can dream in front of the windows of the world's greatest jewelers.

It will take you around 20/25 mns to walk to the Musée du Louvre and it's a delightful walk from the flat.
Traditional shops found in the nearby Rue des Martyrs include bakeries, patisseries, chocolatiers, delicatessens, butchers, caterers, cheese stores, wine merchants, fruit and vegetables vendors, and typically Parisian cafes and restaurants. The area is also host to numerous theaters and museums (I recommend the little-known Museum of Romantic Life where you can enjoy afternoon tea in a delightful walled garden, and the National Gustave Moreau Museum, former home of the artist). The famous Parisian cabarets (The Moulin Rouge, Michou, and Madame Arthur) are also within easy walking distance and add to the colour of the quarter.

The building, located in a former convent which was subsequently converted into a coaching inn in the 19th century, overlooks a large yard with trees and flowers in the heart of old Paris.

The metro station closest to the apartment (Notre-Dame de Lorette) is located within 3 minutes walk, and all the sights of the city can be reached on foot.

Gare de l'Est Station is 10 minutes by taxi (20 minutes on foot).
