The apartment is well situated in the heart of the Marais. The windows all have double paned insulation and you're on a small street with very little traffic. There are no bars and no restaurants on the street so the apartment is very quiet.

You're just one street over from the famous rue Rambuteau and the rue des Francs Bourgeois where you can find a great selection of green grocers and bakeries, restaurants and bars. In fact the Marais is well known for its lively atmosphere, trendy boutiques and night life.

The Pompidou Center (museum of modern art) is located at the end of the rue Rambuteau, just 2 minutes on foot. The Picasso museum is a 5 minute walk, the Hôtel de Ville and the Notre Dame Cathedral are less than 10 minutes from the apartment.

Getting around Paris is very easy. Metro lines 11, 1 and 3 are just minutes from the apartment. They will take you directly to the Bastille, the Opera, the Louvre and the Champs Elysées.
