Just loved our stay in this apartment. We were a group of six girls ( family and friends) and found the apartment comfortably equipped , homey and spacious. It felt totally secure and quiet and the neighborhood was charming and vibey. Plenty of great shopping for both food and anything else, and many shops open on Sunday which is unusual for many areas of Paris. It's true that the little lobby off the street looks a bit run down- but it's clearly an old building and by comparison the apartment is roomy light and airy. Only thing I'd like to see added is a little vacuum cleaner and a fold up clothes horse to hold drying washing. We would most definitely recommend and rent this apartment again.

This is a great apartment in a lovely neighbourhood! Everything is within 5-minute walk whatever you need. Montmartre is very charming and we loved to walk at any time of the day. Metro and even L'Open tour Hop on/ Hop off stop is very close too. The apartment is very spacious, has a lovely atmosphere with some eclectique touch. We found everything what we needed and the three bathrooms for 6 people were really great. We had breakfast in the glass covered veranda, absolutely cool! The weather was quite chilly and rainy (despite it was July) but we switched on the heater and in 10 minutes we felt much better. Unfortunately we could not use the courtyard due to the rains, maybe next time.

Loved the location & the apartment. Extremely happy with everything, but there are just a few very minor things that would assist further. A decent toaster would be helpful, as would some type of clothesline. Also, a few chairs in the courtyard would have enabled us to be able to use this space. Whilst we loved eating in the sun room, the seats were very uncomfortable (& extremely cold first thing in the morning) After travelling throughout Europe for 2 months staying in both apartments and many hotels, these were quite easily the most comfortable beds with good room sizes & excellent wi-fi.

The apartment met or exceeded our expectations. The entrance passage looks a bit dingy when you first arrive but the apartment itself is airy and spacious. My wife and I travelled with our two teenage boys and the three bathrooms (one with shower) were very useful. The washing machine, dishwasher etc. all worked well and the apartment was clean when we arrived. [A general comment on cleanliness - I come from Cape Town and, possibly because domestic help is easy to come by, our standards of hotel/B&B cleanliness are higher than in Europe, generally we found the apartments in Paris and Italy not quite as meticulously clean as what we are used to at home.] For a large family or friends travelling together I think the apartment is ideal. There is a small central courtyard which adds charm to the apartment - there was a starling nest with babies in it when we arrived. The apartment is clearly lived in so it doesn't feel like a hotel or B&B, but that is not a criticism, simply an observation, for me it added to the feeling of being a "local". This was our first trip to Paris and Montmartre was an excellent choice for us - I think its a slightly alternative location and a bit more bohemian than some of the smarter areas. There is excellent food nearby in the form of little cafe's whether you want to sit down or eat cheaply on the run and a couple of supermarkets within a short walk. The French Metro is efficient and two stations are within about 5 minutes walk (Abbesses and Blanche) - we had no difficulty getting anywhere. You are about 30 minutes from Gare de Lyon station by taxi - costs about 25-30 Euros for the taxi ride with luggage. I can recommend the restaurant in the street called "16 Tholozé" but the "Cuccina Italiania" across the road is not up to standard. The sandwicherie with the orange awnings directly down the road on Lue Lepic is excellent and reasonably priced and the fruit stores around the corner are excellent, they are run by Tunisian families. I would definitely rent the same apartment again and would recommend it to friends.

We were very impressed with the apartment. We were traveling with two other couples and the space was more than adequate for all six of us and the 3 bedroom/3 bath arrangement was perfect. The street does get a little busy at night with pedestrian foot traffic and nightlife, but the bedrooms were distant enough from the street that it was a non-issue. We loved that the street had a very local feel. There is a wonderful Italian restaurant (Tentazioni) steps from the apartment, as well as a couple of local bars/pubs up and down the street. It is less than a five minute walk to Moulin Rouge as well as the metro. We did many eat-in meals, picking up rotisserie chicken, cheese, wine, veggies, etc from the neighborhood. The free wifi was nice as well. As others have mentioned, some of the towels are at the end of their lifespan.

It was clean and well stocked in terms of the kitchen. We really liked the area the apartment was in and would recommend it to friends in the future.

The apartment was lovely and in a great location. The only tiny thing was that the towels were a little hard. But overall we were very happy

We concur with all the positve comments: the flat was perfect and the two gentlemen who handled our comings and goings were great! I certainly will call you next time we go to Paris: the Tholoze' flat is exactly as advertised! Quiet, a great atruim off the dining room and very central in the Monmartre area.
